The boss is going to kill me if I don’t make this deadline.
After the day I’ve had, I reckon I’d thank him for it.
Oh! If I couldn’t blow off steam like this, I’d probably just kill myself.
Did..did he see me? He’s looking. Oh my god! Kill me now.
I can’t believe he saw me checking out his arse.
For many of us, the prospect of death is so remote, that we sometimes even joke about it.
But some people’s quality of life is so degraded that they can’t bear to live anymore
Well, we have a human right to life, so do we ever have a right to die?
The European Court of Human Rights has said that the right to privacy and autonomy includes
a right to choose how and when we end our own life, if we’re of sound mind.
But there is no right to be assisted to die.
So in other words, there’s no human right to voluntary euthanasia
At the same time, international law doesn’t seem to ban the practice,
as long as certain safeguards are in place.
So far a handful of countries – and some US States – have legalised voluntary euthanasia
So for now, it’s up to each country to decide how to deal with the wishes of a terminally ill person
who wants to die with dignity.
Ugh, I can’t believe I have to work a double shift.
I’d rather be dead.
...Tell me about it.
