The boss is going to kill me if I dont make this deadline.

After the day Ive had, I reckon Id thank him for it.

Oh! If I couldnt blow off steam like this, Id probably just kill myself.

Did..did he see me? Hes looking. Oh my god! Kill me now.

I cant believe he saw me checking out his arse.

For many of us, the prospect of death is so remote, that we sometimes even joke about it.

But some peoples quality of life is so degraded that they cant bear to live anymore

Well, we have a human right to life, so do we ever have a right to die?

The European Court of Human Rights has said that the right to privacy and autonomy includes

a right to choose how and when we end our own life, if were of sound mind.

But there is no right to be assisted to die.

So in other words, theres no human right to voluntary euthanasia

At the same time, international law doesnt seem to ban the practice,

as long as certain safeguards are in place.

So far a handful of countriesand some US Stateshave legalised voluntary euthanasia

So for now, its up to each country to decide how to deal with the wishes of a terminally ill person

who wants to die with dignity.

Ugh, I cant believe I have to work a double shift.

Id rather be dead.

...Tell me about it.
