As you may have heard, there is an outbreak of Coronavirus in China. The entire city of Wuhan

is on lockdown. Even trains or flights are not allowed to enter or leave the city to prevent this

deadly virus from spreading but why such drastic measures?

Coronavirus is highly contagious

Coronavirus was first identified in 1965 by a British scientist, Dr. David Tyrrell

We dont know where it come from, but its found in rats, chickens, dogs, cattle, cats, and other animals.

it is also thought to be first transmitted from animals to

humans

What is this virus? It causes cough, fever, breathing problems, and other respiratory diseases that are collectively called SARS

Severe Acute Respiration Syndrome (SARS).

If left untreated, it can kill you

Did you know that there was an outbreak of the coronavirus in 2002 as well?

More than 8,000 people were infected in 29 different countries

Fortunately, the epidemic was contained back then

Infected people were completely isolated and treated with heavy doses of antiviral drugs

No case of coronavirus was reported since 2004!

But NOW its back!

the virus has already invaded Pakistan, US, Germany, Canada and other countries

there are wounded people that have been killed and at least 1,000 people have been infected

Another reason why the coronavirus is so dangerous is because its symptoms are very similar to those of a common cold or fever.

So how can you protect yourself from this nasty virus?

Well, make sure to leave your face and hands clean at all times

avoid contact with people who are sneezing, coughing, or suffering from fever

If you find out that you have been infected, please track people with whom you have come in contact and warn them instantly

because it's our moral duty to protect this community from this deadly virus.
