Difficulty: 0

Philippe Coutinho has endured a pretty tough time at the Nou Camp since his £142miliion move from Liverpool in January 2018

Earlier this week Barca came up against Liverpool in the semi-finals of the Champions League at Anfield but Coutinhos performance was reportedly enough for Catalan chiefs to decide that he would be sold this summer

And according to Spanish radio outlet Cadena Ser, Chelsea are ready to pounce for the Brazilians signature

But their willingness to do a deal for Coutinho relies on two key transfer decisions

Chelsea are still waiting to see what will happen with Eden Hazard and while it seems the Belgian is set to move to Barcelona's rivals Real Madrid, nothing has been confirmed as of yet

Eden Hazard has also been very coy on the subject and has been Chelseas brightest performer this season - prompting suggestion that hes still committed to the club

Chelsea want in excess of £100m for Hazard and with his contract up in the summer of 2020, its likely a deal is struck in the coming weeks rather than letting him go for free in a years time

The club are also waiting on a decision from from the Court of Arbitration for Sport that will impact the transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA

FIFA slapped a two-window ban on Chelsea because of their recruitment policy over foreign minors

Chelsea appealed the ban but the CAS have yet to make a final decision after FIFA rejected the initial appeal

The CAS could also file a temporary motion that would see the ban frozen until a final decision is made on the Bluestransfer future

If both the Hazard situation and the ban dilemma are resolved, Roman Abramovich has made it clear that he wants Coutinho to come in and serve as the clubs new marquee player

Chelsea signed Borussia Dortmunds Christian Pulisic in January, seemingly as a replacement for Hazard

Maurizio Sarris future at Stamford Bridge is also up in the air, but hes expected to keep his job after getting the club into next seasons Champions League

The Italian could also win his first trophy as a manager when Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Europa League final on Wednesday May 29

Chelsea round off their season at the King Power Stadium on Sunday against Leicester and can finish third in the table with victory
