Hi my name is Matt Aneri. I'm one of the personal injury attorneys here at Berry

Law with offices in Lincoln and Omaha. I'm going to be spending some time

talking today about car crashes taking place in the Omaha area. What should you

do if you're involved in one of those crashes. Types of things you should watch

out for and some of the things you really should not do if you're involved

in a car crash up in Omaha. You're gonna start getting calls from the insurance

company for the person that hits you. provided they have insurance. They're

gonna want you to accept a very fast settlement. If you don't accept the

settlement right away they're gonna be calling you every couple weeks or every

month or so trying to get you to accept the settlement, and the reason they want

you to do that it's because they know that once they've paid you for your

injuries they are off the hook. Even if they have an adequately

compensated you so what should you do if you're involved in a crash. We really

recommend that you contact an attorney's office. Certainly here at Berry Law would

course are negotiating with the liability insurance carrier, but did you

know that if you receive a settlement for an injury case you have an

obligation most likely to pay back your own health insurance carrier. If your

health insurance carrier paid your bills or a workers compensation carrier. For

example in addition to negotiating with that liability carrier we will also

negotiate with your own insurance carriers in an attempt to minimize the

amount of money that you have to pay them back. What else we're gonna do we're
