There are a lot of people with muscular dystrophies.
So different types of muscular dystrophies.
There are people with less strength so
it's really important
that you're really accurate in your throwing.
So I've got cerebral palsy spastic quadriplegia.
Or hypotonic CP, depending on what generation you are.
I'm just severely disabled but I'm not so disabled that I can't throw a ball.
Which is why I am a BC1 really.
I'm in classification BC4 category
and my impairment is
I have disability in all my joints in my body.
My movements are very limited.
For example I cannot lift my arm or
stretch my arm and touch my face
and that's why in Boccia I play in BC3
which is the category where you cannot throw the ball
with our arm, with our hand.
So we use the ramp to propel the ball on to the court.
And also we have an assistant
to help us to
adjust the ramp and so we can play the game.
So I decide all the tactics and everything that I want to do
and my sport assistant executes.
The assistant has to make sure
what the athlete wants to do
in the limit of time.
And then I just release the ball with my head pointer.
