I'd like to talk about the UO health requirements.
INSURANCE (TITLE SCREEN)
As an international student, you are required to have health insurance.
The University will automatically sign you up for the UO plan once you arrive.
If your home country or program provides insurance for you, you may be able to request a waiver.
IMMUNIZATIONS (TITLE SCREEN)
The UO requires that all students have immunizations for:
1) Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) – 2 doses
2) Varicella (chickenpox) – 2 doses
3) Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap) – 1 dose after age 11
4) Meningococcal Quadrivalent (Serogroups A, C, Y, & W-135) (MCV4, MPSV4) – 1 dose after age 16
We recommend that you get these shots before you leave your home country.
Remember to bring your immunization records with you to orientation.
