How to travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

The fastest and comfortable way to travel between Kathmandu and Pokhara

is by plane

It is a very beautiful flight

especially if you sit on the right side of the plane,

you can see the Himalayas.

Buddha, Yeti and Simrik are all major airlines in Nepal

Aerial distance is 146 kilometers.

Several flights depart daily from Domestic Terminal of Tribhuvan Airport

and the journey is only 30 minutes.

Flights run daily,

the last flight of the day, on either side, leaving at around 3:30 PM

Currently the average price of a tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara bus tickets is 600- 800 rupees.

You can travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Pokhara to Kathmandu for Rs. 450 Nepali in local buses

To get a bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you need to reach at Prithvi Chowk

auto or taxi will drop you from Lake side to Prithvi Chowk 200 rupees.

These buses run from Pokhara at 8:30 pm and will take you to Kathmandu at 5 am the next day.

The more spectacular Greenline bus leaves from a small bus park in front of the Garden of Dreams in Thamel at 7.30 am.

Tickets are $ 25 USD,

which is equivalent to 3000 Nepalese Rupees and 1830 Indian Rupees

The price includes a buffet lunch and travel insurance,

as well as an indoor waiting room in the bus park.
