NEXT TO A WARM FIRE LINDSAY.

OH, THAT'S NICE. THAT SOUNDS

REALLY NICE. WE HAVE WINTER

WEATHER ADVISORIES ALREADY

POSTED NOT FOR INDIANAPOLIS BUT

TO THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE

STATE. THAT'S GOING TO GO INTO

EFFECT AT 11 O'CLOCK THIS

MORNING ALTHOUGH JUST TO THE

NORTH OF LAFAYETTE WE'RE

ALREADY PICKING UP ON SOME

LIGHT SNOW AND LIVED UP WITH 13

RADAR. OUTSIDE OF THAT IT'S

PRETTY QUIET THROUGH CENTRAL

INDIANA. OUR NEXT STEP WEATHER

SYSTEM THOUGH IT IS KNOCKING AT

OUR DOOR. IT IS IN CENTRAL

ILLINOIS WHERE TEMPERATURES ARE

STILL BELOW FREEZING BUT THAT

WARMER AIR IS JUST BEHIND IT.

ALREADY SEEING THAT WINTERY MIX

TAKING PLACE JUST TO THE NORTH

OF ST. LOUIS. AND THEN ALL RAIN

A LITTLE FARTHER BACK TO THE

WEST. THAT WARMER AIR WILL

CONTINUE TO PUSH IN. SO THAT'S

GOING TO CHANGE WHAT WILL BE A

WINTRY MIX EARLY ON TODAY OF

SNOW AND SLEET TO ALL RAIN AS

WE GET INTO THIS EVENING BEFORE

THIS COLD FRONT GETS HERE. ONCE

THIS ARRIVES RIGHT AROUND

MIDNIGHT, WELL THAT'S GOING TO

BE A GAME CHANGER LOOKING AHEAD

AS WE GET INTO EARLY TOMORROW

MORNING. SO IN THE MEANTIME,

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO PREPARE

FOR TODAY. IF YOUR PLANTS TAKE

YOU TO THE STATE FAIRGROUNDS,

THE INDY FUEL START TODAY AT

THREE OR FIVE AT THAT POINT

TEMPERATURES WILL START TO WARM

BACK INTO THE UPPER 30S. SO THE

SNOW WILL START TO TRANSITION

TO A WINTRY MIX AND THEN

EVENTUALLY AS TEMPERATURES

CONTINUE TO CLIMB BACK INTO THE

40S, THIS BECOMES ALL RAIN.

HERE'S THE LATEST TIMELINE ON

FUTURE TRACK 13 PAUSING HERE AT

11:00 IN THE MORNING. HERE

COMES SNOW. PLACES LIKE TERRE

HAUTE TO GREEN CASTLE TO

LAFAYETTE AND AN AREA SOUTH

ALREADY ARE GOING TO BE WELL

ABOVE FREEZING. SO IT LOOKS TO

BE AN ALL RAIN EVENT FOR OUR

FRIENDS IN BLOOMINGTON DOWN TO

BEDFORD HERE IN INDIANAPOLIS

METRO. WE'RE TALKING FROM ABOUT

11:00 A.M. THROUGH 1:00 THIS

AFTERNOON. THAT'S WHEN WE COULD

SEE SOME OF THE SLUSHY SNOW

ACCUMULATIONS WITH TEMPERATURES

AROUND 33 DEGREES IN THE EARLY

AFTERNOON. THIS SLUSH

COMBINATION OF SLEET SNOW

PUSHES OFF TO THE NORTH EAST

FROM KOKOMO TO MUNCIE THROUGH

3:00 P.M. AND THIS IS AS THAT

WARMER AIR STARTS TO TAKE BACK

OVER. SO WE'RE TALKING ALL RAIN

FOR EVERYBODY. ANYTHING THAT

DOES ACCUMULATE WILL START TO

MELT. TEMPERATURES WILL RECOVER

BACK INTO THE 40S AFTER 5:00

P.M. AND WE'RE TALKING SOME

PRETTY HEAVY RAIN GOING TO BE A

POSSIBILITY BEFORE THAT COLD

FRONT GETS HERE. NOTICE YOUR

TEMPERATURES. WE'RE GOING TO BE

IN THE 40S FROM INDIANAPOLIS

AND EVEN YOUR 50S AND COLUMBUS

RIGHT AROUND MIDNIGHT EARLY

MONDAY. BUT THEN THAT COLD

FRONT IS GOING TO COME THROUGH.

IT TAKES A BULK OF THAT

MOISTURE OUT WITH IT. AND WE'RE

LEFT BEHIND WAS SOME COOLER

TEMPERATURES TO GET TOMORROW

STARTED, SOME RAIN SHOWERS

POSSIBLE EARLY STAYING MOSTLY

CLOUDY THROUGH THE DAY. THIRTY

FIVE DEGREES IN THE MORNING,

AROUND 40 FOR DAYTIME HIGH ON

MONDAY WITH THE SKY GRADUALLY

CLEARING MIGHT EVEN SEE A FEW

PEEKS OF SUNSHINE LATER IN THE

DAY ON MONDAY. BUT THE REAL

SUNNY DAY IS GOING TO ON

TUESDAY IS CLOUD COVER EXITS

AND WE GET INTO A PRETTY NICE

OVERALL DAY ON TUESDAY MIGHT

EVEN BE THE PICK OF THE WEEK

WITH TEMPERATURES ABOVE AVERAGE

HIGH OF FORTY TWO AND A PARTLY

SUNNY SKY. OUR NEXT WEATHER

SYSTEM ARRIVES ON WEDNESDAY

EVENING TEMPERATURES AROUND 38

DEGREES SO IT WILL BE RAIN AT

FIRST AS TEMPERATURES DROP THIS
