Difficulty: 0

so according to the Much Wenlock clock it is now 1:00 p.m.

even though I've just realised that the Much Wenlock clock is actually slightly

fast in fact it's slow it's three minutes slow can you believe it I can't

I can't believe that the Much Wenlock clock is actually three minutes slow

so according to the clock here in the town square

it is now one o'clock even though in reality it is actually three minutes

past one here in the UK and it's a special livestream with me mr. Duncan we

are now live I just want to make sure that you can hear me so can you hear me

can you hear me out there in YouTube land if you can please let me know yes

mr. Duncan we can hear you I hope you can we are now live on YouTube and I am

doing a live broadcast from the centre of much Wenlock the place in which I

live I thought I would do something special today because it is two weeks

two weeks till Christmas and I don't know about you but I'm really really

excited because christmas is just around the corner you will see me in a moment

don't worry I am NOT going to hide from you we are going to take a look around

the town in which I live hopefully we will get to speak to some of the local

people if they want to speak to me of course maybe they don't who knows and

who can blame them so I hope you're okay today it is Tuesday there is nothing

wrong with your calendar don't worry it isn't Sunday it is Tuesday and it's just

after 1 o'clock here in the UK thanks a lot for all of your messages already

I've had lots of messages from many people saying hello mr. Duncan we can

hear you that's good and I'm very pleased to be here

on a very cold day it's chilly but at least it's not raining so I'm quite glad

that there isn't any rain so let's take a look around the place in which we are

in at the moment and then I will reveal myself to you in all my glory so here we

are we are now in much Wenlock and there you can see a live shot so we are now

broadcasting live across the worldwide web

so I hope you are enjoying this a nice surprise

only two weeks left before Christmas and that's the reason why I'm doing this

today I thought it would be a nice idea to do something a little different today

so here I am actually standing in the middle of Much Wenlock broadcasting to

you all live so I hope you are having a good day so far and also I hope you will

be able to stick with me for the rest of this live broadcast at the moment I am

slurping on some coffee because I need my energy so I went to one of my

favourite cafes here in which Wenlock the old smoothie and I had a lovely large

coffee so that's what I'm doing at the moment so if you can hear some slurping

the reason is because I'm slurping on my coffee and it's very nice it's well very

strong

one thing to mention the Christmas lights are not on at the moment they

don't come on they don't normally come on to later

so the Christmas lights will be on later so don't worry about that the Christmas

lights will be on but sadly during the daytime they don't put them on I guess

they are trying to save electricity that must be the reason why the Christmas

tree is standing just behind me in a moment you will get to see me don't

worry for those who are panicking we can't see

you mr. Duncan where are you as you can see it's very busy here in Much Wenlock

lots of people walking around some people doing their Christmas shopping at

the moment so there is a lot going on here in Much Wenlock a very tiny tab

tiny town it's not very big around five about five thousand people live here in

Much Wenlock so it's not a big place and I live just outside much well okay

we will now move to a different location and then I will reveal myself to you are

you ready to go for a walk with mr. Duncan look I hope so here we go so now

we are in the square the town square and don't forget this is all live you are

watching us live on YouTube everything you see is live if you hear any strange

noises don't worry it's just me dropping the camera so don't worry about it

so now we will go up the steps and I will reveal myself as it were so now I

am standing by the Christmas tree but where is mr. Duncan we can't see you mr.

Duncan where are you we can't see you anywhere please reveal yourself okay

then here we go are you ready three two one

prepare to be dazzled hi everybody this is mr. Duncan in England how are you

today are you okay I hope so are you happy I really hope so here we go it's

Tuesday and now I am on camera as you can see I have my lovely cup of coffee

which I bought from from just over there a lovely little coffee shop and also a

place that sells tea and cakes as well so thank you very much to the old

smoothie for your for your delicious coffee which is keeping me going today I

will not lose my energy also because Christmas is on the way I have my tinsel

do you like my lovely tinsel there it is just

to bring a little bit of festive cheer to the live stream I am now standing in

front of the Christmas tree so behind me there is a large Christmas tree the only

thing I've noticed is that there is no fairy on top of the Christmas tree I

can't believe it they haven't put a fairy on top of the Christmas tree so if

anyone has a fairy that they would like to send to me

so I can put it on top of the Christmas tree please feel free to do so don't be

shy give it a try it is live English yes I am live now from the center of much

Wenlock we are doing a live stream just for you lots of people walking around

some people staring at me wondering what I am doing so I hope you are okay thanks

for your messages we are now live it's just after 10 plus 1 here in the UK and

it's mr. duncan live on youtube with just two weeks to go before christmas

arrives of course not everyone celebrates Christmas but you are more

than welcome to join in today it doesn't matter what religion you follow who you

pray to maybe you are a Buddhist or maybe you are a Hindu or perhaps you are

a Scientologist or maybe a Muslim or maybe you pray to the to the Flying

Spaghetti Monster who knows so everyone is welcome it's a lovely big world and

we are all here together today so don't worry about it here we go then the

Christmas tree looks very bare I don't know about you but look there isn't

there are no decorations on the Christmas tree now I thought there would

be lots of decorations on the Christmas tree but it would appear that there

aren't any so all they've put on the Christmas tree are the lights so there

are lights but nothing else where am i oh there I am

shall I say hello to some people because I haven't said hello to anyone yet we

have a lot of people on the live chat thank you very much for joining in this

is something that I didn't expect to do but I thought I would give you a little

surprise today with a live stream I hope you can see me okay and I hope you can

hear me okay if you have any trouble hearing me or seeing me please let me

know I missed a bit that the Christmas lights look very nice even though

they're not on so here is another look at the town square

there it is so that is now a live view of Much Wenlock town square and you can

see just above the clock you can see lots of Christmas lights looking rather

nice Albert is here hello Albert thanks for joining me Albert asks have

you decorated your Christmas tree yet no I haven't not yet it's a bit too early

I've put the Christmas lights on the house but I haven't put the Christmas

tree up yet and going to do that next week in fact I might do it on Sunday

during the live stream because you can catch me every Sunday between 2:00 and

4:00 p.m. UK time every Sunday live on YouTube with my live English stream and

for those who have never seen me before hello my name is mr. Duncan and I teach

English across the world on YouTube and right now I'm in much when Locke because

Christmas is on the way two weeks to go lots of people wandering around

they are busily doing their Christmas shopping buying their food buying their

big fat turkeys because there is one thing we love to eat on

miss day and that's Turkey although having said that there are other types

of food that you can eat on Christmas Day so you might want to eat some turkey

or maybe you can eat some ham or if you are vegetarian you might have something

that has no meat whatsoever so it just depends really so yes I will

be putting my Christmas tree up this Sunday during the livestream where is

mr. steve-o quite a few people are asking where is mr. Steve sadly mr.

Steve is working at the moment so because it's a weekday and because it's

daytime mr. Steve is busy doing his work in fact he's gone away to a place called

Chester so Steve at the moment is in Chester many many miles away from here

unfortunately and yes before you ask yes I do miss him a lot

because he's not here this coffee is delicious this is coffee I'm drinking at

the moment because it's quite cold and I need my energy because I'm standing here

in Much Wenlock town centre do you watch the Queen's Speech on Christmas Day to

be honest I don't because normally I forget so because there are other things

happening on Christmas Day normally by by the time the Queen comes on the TV

with her speech I normally asleep after eating lots and lots of food hello

Belarusian some people now because there are people joining on the live chat

hello to our mad what type of coffee are you drinking at the moment oh this

is americano americano coffee quite strong it also has some some milk and

lots of sugar for those who are regular viewers you

will know that I love my sugar and I have four four sugars in my coffee I

know it's disgusting isn't it so for those who have just joined us this is a

livestream I'm now broadcasting to the world live from the center of much

Wenlock the place in which I live I do get lots of messages from people

saying please can you show more of the place in which you live we want to see

more of Much Wenlock so that's the reason why I'm here today not just that

but also it's two weeks to go until Christmas

do you like my my festive gloves so my gloves are red my hat is red and also I

have some some lovely shiny tinsel as well too to help celebrate the fact that

Christmas is on the way and even if you don't celebrate Christmas it's okay you

are more than welcome to join in today Daniel says hello everyone it's very

nice to see you Anatoly Anatoly is here as well nice to

hear you today thank you you are more than welcome if you want to say hello to

someone if you want to say hello to me if you want to say hello to the world

you are more than welcome to do so this is live for those who are wondering it's

now 17 minutes past one o'clock in the afternoon on a Tuesday I will try to

repeat my question would you be so kind to repeat the time of Sunday's

livestream 2 p.m. UK time every Sunday from 2 p.m. UK time you can catch me

live on YouTube just like I am now I am now talking to you live isn't technology

amazing so for the hundreds of people watching at the moment

welcome to Much Wenlock thanks a lot for answering my question hello what a nice

surprise oh hello Julia can I say hello to you

and welcome yes lots of my regular viewers

watching today also if it's your first time if you have never seen me before on

YouTube you are more than welcome to say hello and if it is your first time

please let me know I would be very pleased to hear from you

hello from Japan says she she chin hello to Japan watching at the moment she chin

watching in Japan nice to see you here lots of people on the live chat in fact

I am overwhelmed it's nice watching the place in which

you live your voice is wonderful thank you very much for that this morning when

I woke up I thought I was losing my voice because I had a sore throat this

morning fortunately my sore throat has gone there so I feel okay but this

morning I got very worried because I thought I was going to to have some sort

of fever but I haven't I feel perfectly well also I walked into town today so I

carried all of my equipment into town so I've had plenty of exercises already

plenty of exercise today have you had your lunch yet are you out for lunch no

not yet I haven't had my lunch yet because I'm busy doing this China is

here ginger Jang is here hello to China a big Niihau

to you we have a Chinese restaurant here in Much Wenlock a little Chinese

takeaway and every single Thursday we go to the little Chinese takeaway to have

some lovely chow mein very delicious so there is a little

Chinese restaurant here there is also an Indian restaurant as

well it doesn't look very cold in the UK says Carlos no it's not very cold it's

very dry but cloudy fortunately there isn't any

rain because if it was raining I wouldn't be able to do this you see I

wouldn't be able to come out and do this so because it's dry I can stand outside

and talk to you live for those wondering where I am I will show you I am live in

much Wenlock and there is a live view of the town center as you can see it's not

very busy today I thought it would be busier than this to be honest I thought

there would be more people doing their Christmas shopping but in fact it's so

quiet I feel as if I feel as if maybe the rapture has come and everyone's been

taken away I don't know I feel like I'm the only person left on the planet Julie

mr. Duncan would you like for some snow to come this year well for those who

watched me on Sunday you will know that on Sunday I was talking all about snow

because a year ago a year ago today we had snow everywhere so the snow was

falling all over the place thanks for your comments about the town

what a lovely town says Lally thank you very much as very kind of you the

Chinese and Indian restaurants are everywhere they are yes but because this

town is very small there aren't many places to eat but like restaurants there

are many tea rooms but not many big restaurants so fortunately we have an

Indian restaurant and also a Chinese takeaway and I must admit I do like the

Chinese food because of course I used to live in China I lived in China for many

years before I came back here so it is a live stream the tinsel around my neck is

making me itch I don't know why but this tinsel is actually irritating my neck at

the moment hello too Frederika hello Frederico

where are you watching at the moment I have people watching in Japan also

people watching in Brazil at the moment also we have Muhammed watching in Kenya

hello to Kenya thank you very much for joining me today

Carlos is here it's a good thing I thought because with the water and the

mud could come with us talking about the weather

oh yes well there was a lot of mud on the ground on the way in as I was

walking in I had to walk through lots and lots of mud so yes we have had lots

of rain last week and also lots of strong wind as well we had some big

storms last week I really thought that the Christmas lights on my house would

get blown away I was really worried I was I was afraid that my Christmas

lights on the house would all blow away last week mr. Duncan where do you work I

work here on the internet this is where I work right here so what you are doing

now is watching me work believe it or not it doesn't look like I'm working

does it it looks like I'm having lots of fun which I am of course because I'm

with you it's the reason why I'm so happy

and of course Christmas is on the way to mr. Steve isn't here no is not he's

working he is in a place called Chester today I saw a programme about Snowdonia

in Wales mr. Duncan have you ever been to Snowdonia I have I've been to

Snowdonia because they have a train that goes up to to the mountains so I have

been on the Snowdonia railway and it's amazing maybe one day I could do a video

maybe record an English lesson from the top of Snowdonia imagine that but yes

you are right Snowdonia is a huge mountain and

at this time of year it is covered in snow there was lots of snow around

having said that there is no snow here at the moment but who knows because this

weekend it's going to get very cold apparently the temperature is going to

drop so it's going to get very cold but the big question is will we get any snow

a x16 asks what is your plan for Christmas Day Christmas Day I will be

very lazy I'm going to relax mr. Steve will make the Christmas lunch he will

cook the turkey he will peel the parsnips and he will also stiff the

turkey as well apparently that's his favorite bit mr. Steve loves to stuff

the turkey I don't know why he seems to take he seems to take great pleasure in

it hello Pedro Pedro is here hello to Brazil and Pedro here in my region there

are 2 million inhabitants but our territory is very big we are larger than

England and Germany together yes I know Brazil is huge I think it might be one

of the largest countries in the world but yes thank you and a big hello to

Brazil again nice to see you here today hello from Egypt hello a big hello to

Egypt how disgusting it is eating turkey oh I have a feeling that that Janelle

Janelle might be a vegetarian or maybe a vegan so yes but some people do like to

eat meat and some people feel very strongly against eating meat

hello mr. Duncan what an awesome surprise Thank You JC

Jordi welcome and hello to you I hope you are feeling better as well yes we

are live now across YouTube from Much Wenlock and I thought it would be nice

to do a livestream because Christmas is just two weeks away let's have another

view of the town centre so there it is that is a live view in the town centre

the place in which I live can you see in a moment I will move the camera so we

can take a look at some other views because there's lots of things to see

here lots of cars driving by but there isn't much else there aren't many people

walking around I was very surprised to find that there aren't many people

walking around today ok I've almost finished my coffee my

coffee has almost been drink so I will throw my coffee or at least the cup I

will flip throw the cup into the bin wait a moment let me just do that

ah yes proving that I am NOT a litter bug let's have a look at some of what is

your schedule for this afternoon well first of all my schedule includes

talking to you so this is something that I planned this morning so this is not

something that I've rehearsed or practiced I have just come into town and

then I've started my livestream so now I've been on for nearly half an hour and

I thought I would just do something a little different today this place this

place looks very calm and totally different from Brazil says Helena hello

Helena and a big hello once again to Brazil I feel as if there are many

people watching in Brazil what a nice place much Wenlock is yes it is it's

lovely here I love living here in January 2019 it will be my sixth year

six years living here and there is an interesting story that goes with the

reason why I moved here because way back in 2012 I made a lesson all about the

Olympic Games and for those who know something about Much Wenlock you will

know that here in Much Wenlock many many years ago the inspiration for the modern

Olympic Games took place so the reason why we have the modern Olympic Games is

because of this place much Wenlock we inspired it so that's the reason why we

now have the modern Olympic Games yes it's true and I made a lesson in 2012

all about it and I fell in love with the town I fell in love with it and so did

mr. Steve so we decided to see if it would be possible if it would be

possible to move and that's exactly what happened I will

be there in the morning thanks for your heads up let's have a look at the live

chat so yes the reason why I live here is because of one of my English lessons

that I filmed thank you to can have who says I will be here in the morning

thanks for the heads are you guys going to the game on Saturday I will be in

touch soon I don't know what that is about I have a feeling that messages for

someone else it certainly isn't for me the Olympic Games came from Greece yes

the ancient Olympic Games came from Greece but then for many years there was

no Olympic Games and then the modern Olympic Games was inspired by the

Wenlock Games you should look it up if there is

information on the on the internet all about it my teacher and I are watching

you right now and he explains words that you talk that I've never learned Thank

You Daniel can I say hello to Daniel where are you watching at the moment are

you somewhere hot and sunny or are you somewhere cold so thank you very much

Daniel yes there is a there is a connection between the Olympic Games and

much Wenlock because for many years the Olympic Games wasn't held but then

suddenly someone discovered the Wenlock games and they said oh that's a good

idea I think we should start doing the Olympic Games again so that's the reason

why we have the modern Olympic Games yes the modern Olympic Games are also

explained by Wikipedia thank you ts for that yes that's it

the the Koba tan and beroun yes you are right it is actually a French French man

so actually it was a French guy who formed the modern Olympic

Committee but the reason why he did it was because he came to Much Wenlock and

saw the Wenlock Games and he thought it was a really good idea and that's the

reason why we have the modern Olympic Games and here in Much Wenlock was where

it all started um Ma'at says nice to see you on the

live chat you are welcome hello Christmas Duncan says Paola hello

to you Paola where were you watching at the moment if it is your first time

watching please say hello and tell me where you are as well a barren decor

bettan orc orbiting yes you are right well done it's nice to see that you can

find that information very quickly on the internet isn't the Internet amazing

as I said on Sunday we are all so smart now we are all so smart because we can

just find all of this information on the internet we don't have to use our brains

anymore I am from Myanmar thank you very much

for that a big hello to Myanmar or as we sometimes call it Burma hello from

Vietnam hello to Vietnam I know I have lots of people watching can I also say a

big hello to all my new viewers watching in India I've noticed over the past few

days I have a lot of new subscribers and also new viewers watching in India so

can I say a big hello to everyone watching in India and you are more than

welcome to join in with the live chat yes it is true I am now talking to you

live across the internet isn't technology incredible I was saying this

earlier hello from russia says ivan hello Ivan I followed you for a long

time but it's hard for me to watch you oh I'm sorry to hear that hello I am

tactile tile or tall in Somalia thank you very much for that maybe you're

talking about your height maybe you are talking about how tall you are

so if I've misunderstood you I do apologize so shall we move around a

little bit let's move around slightly because I've been standing standing here

for a very long time so we are now going to change change the scenery a little

bit so please excuse me if you hear any strange noises it's because I'm moving

the camera so you might hear some strange sounds here we go we're going

for a little walk now always in this exciting dude we're going for a walk

let's have a look at something else okay ah here's something interesting right

behind me now this is the local bakery can you see it just behind me so they're

right behind me now you can see the local bakery so that's the place where I

buy all of my bread from every weekend so that place is called Catherine's

bakery are you Dutch no I'm not Dutch I'm British I'm English I was born in

England I am English and I teach English and I talk English I do everything in

English well almost everything so there is the local bread shop the

local Baker that is where I buy all of my products my lovely bread and

sometimes I buy my tea cakes from there so every Sunday when I have my tea cakes

that is where I buy them from also we have a little gift shop

would you like to see the gift shop there is a gift shop here

a gift shop where you can buy lots of lovely things and at this time of year

people are buying lots of gifts for their friends and relations so there is

a little gift shop sometimes I go in here to buy my Christmas cards or

sometimes I buy wrapping paper to put on the presents yes for those who are

wondering yes I have got mr. Steve's gift I have bought it already so I've

been very well prepared this year for Christmas

and yes it's two weeks away are you excited for Christmas I know I am so as

I mentioned earlier I had a lovely delicious cup of coffee earlier and this

is where I bought it from I bought it from this place so this is the local

coffee shop now you might notice that all of the writing is back to front so I

will turn the camera around so you can see it properly so let me just let me

just turn the camera around just give me a moment that's better so now it is the

right way round so there is the local coffee shop so that's where I I bought

my coffee from this morning the old smoothy and that is a coffee shop here

in Much Wenlock town centre yes where are you at the moment asks an R I am in

the place in which I live I'm in much Wenlock here in England how much does

the coffee cost this morning I had a large americano with milk and sugar and

it was 2 pounds 50 so that's quite good and it was a very big coffee so the

coffee that I bought this morning was two pounds fifty so actually it was

quite good value to be honest I didn't think it was too bad and they have some

lovely staff working in here as well what do we have here oh this is the

salon this is a place where you can get your hair cut or of course I don't need

this place I don't need it because I have no hair so because I'm completely

bald or almost bald I don't need to go to this place

and back to the town square where you can see the Christmas decorations and

also the Christmas tree although I must admit I would love it if there was a big

ferry on top but at the moment there isn't even a ferry so if anyone has a

ferry that they can put on top of the Christmas tree please feel free please

feel free don't worry about it now I've just noticed that my battery is

starting to run low so what I'm going to do is I'm going to plug my charger

inside I hope I'm still there if not I'm in

trouble so I'm going to plug my battery charger and hopefully this will

alleviate the problem please bear with me

you do okay that should help so now yes that's better so I have my external

battery which should help to keep us going a little bit longer yes I'm here

hello we have power once again I was a bit worried then because the power was

starting to drop in the phone but fortunately I have my my lovely external

power supply and this is very useful by the way so if I ever start to lose power

in my phone I can use this and I can plug it in so that's nice isn't it

charging batteries with the Sun must be difficult oh do you mean solar panels

well I don't have any solar panels here and even if I did there would be useless

because there is no sunshine today we don't have any sunshine at all so yes

it's a bit dull today

for those who have just joined hello there it's mr. Duncan live on YouTube

I'm in much when lucky at the moment where are all the people in that place

the street looks empty I know I don't know why it's so quiet today it's very

very quiet here hello teacher from Korea hello day 1 day

1 Kim says hello hi there by the way if you like the live stream can you please

give me a thumbs up please can you like this live stream and then tonight when

I'm lying in bed I will have some lovely sweet dreams

we don't have captions today on the live stream that's because I'm on the mobile

phone so I am using my mobile device so if I use my mobile device

there will be no subtitles although if you watch this later later on there will

be some subtitles later but not during the live stream itself I have given you

a beautiful thumbs up Thank You T s for your support I I really do appreciate it

thank you very much so I am live in which Wenlock and there are people

walking around at the moment so let me just turn around so we can have a look

at the people because there are some people here walking around there we go

that's nice so just behind me over my shoulder just over there you can see the

Much Wenlock clock which stands in the Town Square but I did discover this

morning I found out that the clock is actually three minutes slow yussle Yosef

is going Oh goodbye yourself I hope to see you later

it is only 9 degrees here it is very good that's very cool no need to thank

you thank us

even though I can't at the stand you perfectly

oh I'm sorry to hear that Belarus ear I will try to speak slower mr. Duncan I

think you have some problem with the audio

it is not clear really I don't know why the audio should be clear can you hear

me okay if you can't hear me okay please let me know because I can't hear what's

coming out so if you can't hear me properly please let me know is it okay

can you hear me alright I hope so that's good the audio is absolutely okay okay

so maybe it's your connection that's the problem perhaps how did you go there do

you have public transportation I I walked here so from my house I walked

all the way here so now I didn't use public transport I actually walked

although having said that there are buses here so you can get buses around

the area which take you to the large towns around this area why are there no

people in the street well first of all it's a very small town and also I don't

know I don't know why there is no one here I really thought it was going to be

very busy here today but there aren't many people here at all so I don't know

what's going on but there are some people but not many shall we have a look

at the high street so I will just see how much battery power there is on my

phone 29% eh okay then

hmm I see okay 29% on my back tree okay so I think my

charger is working very well so let's move to a different place now we're

going to move over towards the high street if you hear any strange sounds

it's just because I'm moving the camera so I'm actually moving around carrying

my tripod which isn't very easy oh yes it looks lovely the the high street is

looking quite nice at the moment because the Christmas lights are up but at the

moment they aren't on so they're not on so behind me you can see the High Street

so that there is much Wenlock High Street and there are some Christmas

lights and there is a lovely sign that says Merry Christmas isn't that nice

so at night all of this will be lit up with beautiful Christmas lights it looks

as if that car is going to run me over but don't worry it isn't honestly there

it goes so don't worry that the car isn't going to run me over for those who

are worried though there is the high street and once again you can see behind

me you can see the square which is now behind me so so now we have we have a

slightly different view of Much Wenlock I will be going in around about 10

minutes so in ten minutes I will be going so I'm only here for one hour for

those who are wondering how long I will be Ivan says I remember this square I

remember it isn't that nice row sir is here

hello row so nice to see you here today lots of people joining now

what time is it there mr. Duncan it is now 10 minutes away from 2 o'clock in

the afternoon so it's now 10 minutes away from 2 o'clock in the afternoon

10:00 to 2:00 for those who are wondering where I am

let's I can actually show you on this this very useful map let me just show

you this map just a moment let me just turn the camera around so there is a map

that shows you roughly where we are and just to prove it there we go

as I mentioned earlier this particular town was the inspiration for the modern

Olympic Games and there you can see a special display talking all about it so

for those who aren't sure what the

connection is between Much Wenlock and the Olympic Games Much Wenlock has a

long history dating back before 680 AD when an abbey was founded later to be

rebuilt as Wenlock Priory Much Wenlock can boast of its Olympic connections

through a Victorian son of wenlock's dr. William penny Brookes who founded the

Wenlock Olympian society and the Wenlock Olympian games in 1850 so the Olympian

games here in Much Wenlock have been taking place since 1850 throughout his

lifetime he campaigned for physical education in schools and for the revival

of the ancient Greek games so there just to prove it that is the connection

between Much Wenlock and the Olympic Games or should I say the

modern Olympic Games so now you know the reason why I was talking about that

earlier let's have a look at the live chat just say hello to some more people

how are you today mr. Duncan hello armored I'm okay thank you I can't

complain I'm feeling quite good even though it's a little chilly here in Much

Wenlock and England it's quite it's quite cool here at the moment

apparently in Russia there is a lot of snow yes I saw some of the views from

Russia on Sunday and don't forget if you want to send your video messages in to

me you can send a message to my email address which is underneath this video

so yes you can send me your own video messages if you want to it's getting

quite busy now here in which Wenlock a lot of people now starting to arrive so

it would appear that things are getting very busy now let's just have a look

behind me oh you can see over there there is a cyclist having a break and I

think he is going to go to the coffee shop let's see I think he's going to go

to the coffee shop is he yes I think so yes yes he's going to go to the coffee

shop can you see there is the cyclist I think he's going for a cup of coffee

I think so do you like my tinsel by the way looking very festive today because

it's 2 weeks 2 weeks to go before Christmas arise

it looks like my lips are very cold can you see my lips it looks like they

they've they frozen thank you mr. Duncan for doing this you are welcome

what is this Memorial Hall oh I see yes behind me

yes well it is a Memorial Hall but now they use it as a museum so yes let me

just show you behind me so you can see here there is what they call a Memorial

Hall but these days it is used as a museum so even though in the past people

used to meet here and they used to have celebrations and parties and for a while

this was also used as a cinema so they used to actually show movies here at the

place behind me but these days it is used as a museum so it is no longer used

for parties or celebrations how long does it take to walk to town from your

house it takes about 25 minutes about 25 minutes to walk from my house to the

town centre which is where I am right now so I will be going in five minutes

what sort of museum is the building well the museum behind me features lots of

exhibits all about the history of Much Wenlock and there are many reasons why

this area is important not only because of the olympic game connection but also

there is a lot of historical things to look at around here there is the old

Abbey which is just around the corner there are also some interesting

archaeology archaeology sites it's not very easy to say when you're cold

archaeology is not an easy word to say when you are freezing cold

it is Tuesday today and that means that the Much Wenlock market is open so as

you can see just behind me the Much Wenlock market is open for business

the farmers market every Tuesday you can go into this place and you can buy lots

and lots of lovely vegetables fresh fresh vegetables and all sorts of things

so the Christmas market is behind me but normally during the normal time of year

they call it the farmers market but at the moment people are stocking up on

their Christmas vegetables on their turnips and on their Swedes and carrots

and potatoes how about introducing as some day I mean live I don't know what

that means Pedro I don't know what you mean by that

well I'm live at the moment I'm talking to you live right now I really like the

red color my friend says Ivan oh thank you very

much for that well I'm wearing red today because Christmas is on the way so it's

exactly two weeks to go before Christmas arrives and now there are lots of people

behind me getting ready for Christmas they are doing their Christmas shopping

buying all their lovely gifts for their friends and relative 3 minutes and then

I will go oh I see Pedro wants me to go inside the museum to show you the inside

well I probably can't do it today because it's closed it's not open so

during the summer months the museum is open every day but during the winter the

museum isn't open so at the moment the museum is actually closed

because it is winter and there aren't many people visiting at the moment

having said that during the summer we get lots and lots of people coming here

they all arrive and they look around and they go to the tea rooms and they buy

lots of little souvenirs to remind them of their time here in Much Wenlock so I

hope you've enjoyed this livestream I have been live for the past hour and I

hope you've enjoyed it we will go back to the square before we finish I think

it is a good idea to to finish where we started by the way just behind me you

might notice the the church just behind me there it is there is the church Holy

Trinity Church is just behind me for those who are wondering where it is so I

will cross the road and I will go back to the square hopefully I won't get run

over I will try my best not to get flattened by a car door and I think it

seems appropriate to finish the livestream where we started right under

the local clock which is situated here in the town square mr. Duncan it's a

very beautiful place thank you very much for that I hope you've enjoyed the last

our roaster says I've enjoyed it ts says encore encore oh I see

I think ts wants more quali says it is very easy to understand what you are

saying but I always have trouble when I want to speak like you well can I just

say quali practice that's all I can say if you practice your English it will

improve so don't worry about it so the more you practice your English

the more you will enjoy doing it and the more you enjoy doing it the more you

will want to carry on practicing that's the way it works Roberto says see you

soon thanks mr. Duncan I'm glad to hear you have a nice day thank you very much

Ivan it's very nice to see you all here today I feel very very humble to have
