Elizabeth Welte, or “Izzy” for short, is a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada with a major in English and a minor in Business. She has worked at AEI since fall 2017 as a conversation partner and classroom tutor. She enjoys reading, writing short stories, and traveling to the beach and across the United States. Izzy really loves succulent plants, which are often available for purchase at the Eugene Saturday Market. She suggests, “AEI students should try going to the Saturday Market here in Eugene. It is a great place to find cool stuff to buy and to get to know Eugene better.”
