Christina was a young woman with a whole life ahead of her that had tragically

been cut short and my thoughts are with her family and friends, who have listened

to the trial and remained dignified throughout. Zahid Naseem fully admitted

his relationship with Christina but denied any intent to kill her stating he

had no recollection having consumed alcohol and drugs, however he did admit

they were the only two people in the flat. His actions that evening have not

only impacted on Christina's family but also his own family, they all now need time to

rebuild their lives. I do hope the outcome of this trial has provided

Christina's family with some answers and will allow them some kind of closure
