Can you be racist to white people? Bo Bice thinks so.
Bo Bice first made headlines when he came second to Carrie Underwood in 2005’s American
Idol.
But now he’s making headlines for claiming reverse racism.
He was at an airport Popeyes when a group of African American employees made fun of
his name, referring to him as “Bow-Bow,” “Boo-Boo,” and “Bo-Bo.”
The employees accidentally rang his order in twice. So when they called for him a second
a time, one of the workers allegedly said, “He’s already got his — that white boy
there.”
Bice claims that corporate didn’t respond to him so he posted about it on Facebook.
He told Fox News, “If the tables had been turned and I used something as insensitive
like that… I would be boycotted, there would be people not buying my albums, there would
be people coming and picketing my shows and everything else.”
