Hi, I'm Caroline and I'm here with Amanda at Encore Gymnastics. We're going to teach

you how to do a backflip without jumping. It's also called a standing backtuck. Before

you do any activity like this you want to make sure that you stretch. We're going to

stretch our ankles and the other one and also be sure you stretch your neck. Up and down

and back and forth. Go ahead and stand up. In this skill you will actually be jumping

but you won't be bouncing. You start with your arms up. You're going to reach for the

ceiling, pull your chest back just a little. You're going to use your knees for the rotation.

So it's going to be a reach, swing of the arms, big jump and a flip. Very good. Go ahead

and do that again for us. That's how you do a standing backflip.
