We see a car accident versus one of our power poles at least one every other day,

if not every day. Safety is our first priority when we roll up on the scene

the public's in danger, I'm in danger. You see the sirens down the road, you'll see

people standing around but they don't realize that there could be damage four

or five poles away. When that car hits that utility pole it's a violent shake.

Distracted driving is a huge problem, people are just not paying attention.

We're seeing more cars hit our utility poles, more fatalities, more injuries,

there's more damage. We don't want to see anybody die or get injured hitting our

poles, but it's a fact it does happen. It's especially hard to understand

because it's totally preventable. Please drive safe.
