Difficulty: 0

Hey everybody, it's me, Mr. T and welcome to my new show "Boring Tattooer"

Why "boring"? Well, because that's what I am.

I'm all about safety and attention to detail and method

But that's a big part of my success. In 2012 when I just started to practice tattooing I had to learn everything by myself.

There were no schools, seminars, training videos on YouTube and...

most of the technical aspects I learned about by trial and error.

Eight years later I get dozens if not hundreds of questions every day about my tattoo technique,

preferred voltage, needles, photography, training, and so on.

Because of this I decided to create this show and share what I know.

This includes everything from the most basic information that

every tattoo artist should understand to more advanced techniques

that hopefully can help you to step up your game.

Some of you may already know that once a year

I do in-person seminars here at the Vatican Studios in California.

On the first day of the workshop, we discuss many different concepts: how to interact with the client, the design process

preparing your stencil, photography

and recommendations for aftercare.

After this, I do a live tattoo demonstration on a volunteer client for my students to watch

On the second day, everyone practices working on the same design on silicone skin while I observe

Included in the cost of the workshop is a full set of equipment.

The same supplies that I use in my work every day.

This set contains the best equipment currently available

tattoo machine, inks, needles,

power supply, paper towels, and everything necessary for the students to go out

and best apply what they learned from my class.

This show is different as I want to focus on things tattooers should concentrate on more.

I want to really dive deep into the topics you may not know enough about and give it to you FOR FREE.

This way I can answer the questions I receive a lot so during the class, I can concentrate on

teaching my tattoo technique and

working individually with students to fix mistakes and refine their skills.

Boring Tattooer will tell you how to set up your workstation,

create a contract with a client, choose the right voltage and needles, present your vision of a tattoo design,

get a sponsorship from tattoo companies,

create stunning tattoos on artificial materials and much, much more.

If you're a beginning tattoo artist - pay especially close attention to each episode.

The information given here will save you a lot of time and headaches.

Especially when choosing equipment, interacting with clients, and during the process of tattooing.

As they say: "A fool learns from his own mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others".

The show "Boring Tattooer" will be released in two versions - English and Russian.

English is not my first language and I'm still in the process of learning it.

Please don't be too harsh with me if I pronounced something wrong

Each video will have subtitles if you prefer reading.

For the last few years, I've been sponsored by Bishop Rotary.

One of the benefits has been the chance to test new equipment as it's made

and give feedback to help influence the design before it's released.

In every possible way, I support and love what they do.

I'll see you all in the next episode.
