I wanted to have the best hand cream.

I live in New York where everybody has dry hands

and I wanted to have the best hand cream in the industry.

I didn't want to use a perfume from my range

and I asked Olivia Giacobetti to create an iris perfume.

Just after the Renaissance, gloves were scented with iris

and I thought it was the most refined thing possible

so I thought that it would be

fantastic to have a hand cream

smelling like a Medici glove.

That's why I asked Olivia to do this smell, which I absolutely adore.
