Hi! I am Monica and this last range of motion exercise I am going to show you is actually

for your toes. So we are going to do it again on our right leg. You want to make sure that

when you do it that you have your shoes off. You can keep your socks on if you want to,

but for the demonstration I took mine off so that you can see my toes moving better,

but you definitely dont want your foot in a shoe or else we will not be able to see

the range of motion very easily. So what you want to do is curl your toes or bend them

as far as you can and then straighten them out and bend them back as far as you can,

so right like that. Again try and get movement in your toes to help with some of the swelling

and edema to help keep some of the muscle strengths you dont loose at all and keep

the joints healthy. Just want to keep everything moving around. Again if you cannot go all

the way up you can like come till here, maybe here that is fine if thats all you can

tolerate. Once you get more used to this and you are able to tolerate it and it is not

quite as painful, you can do the full range of motion again. So it is just simply bending

and flexing right like that, nice and easy. You might start off by doing 10 or 15 of these

and then once you get used to it you can progress up to 20, 25, 30 or however many you can start

doing.
