Celebrity relationships are always tricky, and some couples are able to stand the test
of time much longer than others.
Still, whether the relationship was a whirlwind romance or a decade-long marriage, these relationships
just couldn't make it past 2018, and we're just as surprised as you are.
Jesse Williams and Minka Kelly Following his headline-making divorce from
wife Aryn Drake-Lee, Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams got together with Friday Night Lights
star Minka Kelly.
However, this couple didn't last long.
After enduring rumors that they'd had an affair during Williams' marriage to Drake-Lee, the
pair eventually parted, with news of their demise breaking in January.
Though their relationship had reportedly been rock solid as of October 2017, a source told
Entertainment Tonight that Williams and Kelly, who are thought to have started dating in
July 2017, apparently went several months without seeing each other before their breakup
hit the press.
Scott Phillips and Julie Bowen Modern Family star Julie Bowen and her husband
of 13 years, Scott Phillips, called it quits in early February.
The couple wed in September 2004 and share three children together, but according to
E! News, they'd allegedly been "living separate lives" since late 2017.
In September 2016, Bowen actually joked about her marriage to Us Weekly, attributing her
and Phillips' lasting romance to, well, laziness.
"We watch all these people get married and split up and go, 'Wait, did they get married
after us or before us?'
We outlast all these people.
The answer: We're too tired to do anything else!"
It looks like Bowen and Phillips finally found the energy to reconsider their relationship.
Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump On March 15, 2018, Vanessa Trump filed for
divorce from husband Donald Trump Jr. in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The couple announced their separation in a statement.
"After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways.
We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families.
We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority.
We ask for your privacy during this time."
Rumors abound about why their union crumbled, but some sources claim Don Jr.'s busy schedule
played a role.
Vanessa was also reportedly uncomfortable with the newfound attention her family has
received since her father-in-law, President Donald Trump, took office in 2017.
Usher and Grace Miguel R&B performer Usher, whose full name is Usher
Raymond IV, and his wife, music executive Grace Miguel, announced their split in March.
Usher and Miguel started dating in 2009, got engaged in January 2015, and eloped in September
of that year.
They shared of their divorce in a joint statement: "We remain deeply connected, loving friends
who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives.
The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase
as we move forward."
Prior to their divorce announcement, Usher and Miguel had weathered disturbing accusations
made by multiple women and one man who all accused the singer of knowingly exposing them
According to TMZ, Usher has denied all of the allegations.
Anderson Cooper and Benjamin Maisani Journalism's famous silver fox is apparently
back on the market, or, at least, he was for a hot minute.
The Daily Mail reported that Anderson Cooper and longtime boyfriend, nightclub owner Benjamin
Maisani, have called it quits.
The CNN anchor's rep issued a statement that read:
"Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago.
We are still family to each other, and love each other very much.
We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together."
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Fans were brokenhearted when former Step Up
co-stars Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum announced that they were calling it quits
after almost nine years together.
The two shared the news in a joint statement on their Instagram accounts on April 2nd,
sharing they had chosen to separate as a couple.
The pair added: "Absolutely nothing has changed about how

A source told People magazine that Channing and Jenna, who share daughter Everly, were

in April 2018.

A source told People that Cena started getting cold feet as his wedding to Bella approached,
