Hi, I'm Kimberly Seltzer with Ask an Expert, answering your love and relationship

questions

Today's question is: Dear Kimberly

I'm a full-figured woman and I wanna learn how to hide my flaws and

accentuate the positive so men find me attractive

what do I do? Well ladies, there's a lot that you can do but the first thing and

foremost is to love your body

Embrace it, because that's what guys find sexy

it doesn't matter the size or shape as long as you own your body and you're

comfortable in your skin

you're going to attract the man that feels attracted to you, it doesn't matter

so just feel confident. But as an image consultant

I work with a lot of women on... kinda

the tricks and certain clothes and what you can do to conceal those flaws in

accentuate

what you want. The first thing is, is to look in the mirror

and pick out all the parts of your body that you like.

Whether it's your arms, your legs, your eyes, your hair

and make a list and really survey your body. Sometimes

women find this really difficult and I help them with it, because

we're so used to and socialized to pick ourselves apart, but we don't look

at all the good things we have. The second thing is once you have that

I would love to teach you the different clothes and how to

bring out those good parts so if you love your legs wear a short skirt

so that eye goes to the legs and then conversely if you don't like your

stomach area

then wear things that are going to conceal it. I'll give you two tips

that you can take home with you: if you are more full figured woman

say, in the mid-rift area, you definitely don't want to wear patterns

and you don't want to wear the tight pants. Instead

wear something that's plain in the stomach area or maybe something that

wraps

over and wear a boot cut jean because what happens

is that the wider leg on the bottom is going to balance out the heavy area

and you look more symmetrical. So there's a lot of things that you can do

to look and feel your best
