Practice English Speaking&Listening with: I Went On Every Ride at Disneyland in One Day (a definitive ranking)

(0)
Difficulty: 0

(bell dinging repeatedly)

- Every single freaking ride!

(upbeat music)

Good morning everyone and welcome back to my channel.

Today is an extra special day video

that literally no one asked for.

I have brother Austin here with me, the big cheese,

and we are going to ride every single ride at Disneyland

in one day and do a definitive ranking of all of them.

So it is about 8:02.

We are getting into the park.

Austin, are you ready for this?

- Oh, yeah.

- Let's do it.

I'm so excited.

(carnival music)

- One down. - One down, 31 to go.

- That was weird. - Weirdest ride ever.

Dumbo!

Never been on this one, either.

- Nope!

(screaming)

Ever a surprise

- Can I interest you in a cup of tea?

- Indubitably.

- Spin, spin, spin, spin, spin, spin, spin!

I am quite dizzy.

And we have a fast pass for Matterhorn.

It's a small world after all

- Ah, giant ducks attack Arendelle.

- Rain was not forecasted today,

but none the less, it is raining.

So we are about to go on the Casey Jr Circus train.

This was one of my favorites as a kid.

- [Austin] Hit that nay nay.

- Back in Gepetto's workshop where we belong.

- I believe it is your unbirthday.

- I do believe it's your unbirthday, too.

- Oh, happy unbirthday. - Happy unbirthday.

So the next land we are going to conquer is Critter Country.

Over here where we just had our lunch.

Best ride ever!

And there are three rides over here.

That is the Davy Crocket Explorer Canoes,

which neither Austin or I have ever done,

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,

which is one of our favorite rides.

We have logged on it many times.

And Splash Mountain which is just like a classic,

iconic Disney ride but here's the twist.

Here's the sad part.

Do you wanna tell 'em?

- Winnie the Pooh is closed.

- Which is sad, but we are still

going to include it in our ranking

because like I said, we have been on it so many times.

But we can't include the Davy Crocket Canoes in the

ranking because we've never done it!

And they are was closed, which I forgot to say.

So that'll have to be a ride that saves for next time,

but we're gonna ride every single ride that's open.

So Splash?

- Let's splash. - Let's splash.

- Let's splash. - Let's splash.

(screaming)

(laughing)

I'm so wet!

(festive music)

But first, coffee.

Cheers, girlfriend.

All right, Main Street vehicles.

I don't even know where this is.

I have never done these.

Is this where we went?

This pole?

Hey, you cut me.

Watch it, buddy.

- I just asked the Disney employee and

apparently the Main Street vehicles

are down for the day,

so bummed we won't get to try those out.

But we do have one Main Street ride we get to try

and that is the Disney Main Street Railroad.

(kazoo music)

You know I think we're loosing steam a little bit

around like Haunted Mansion time,

but that coffee really kicked us back into gear.

And we are ready to go.

We are actually half way right now.

So we are doing good, we're making good time.

Gadget's Go Coaster.

I love this ride.

It brings back all the happy memories.

Like going on this ride with Dad when I was like two.

- [Both] Whoah!

- Roger Rabbit, give us a spin.

- Give us a spin, Roger!

- Spin, spin, spin!

(laughing)

- Opening this door is absolutely, positively

and unquestionably forbidden.

Unless you really feel like it.

- [Sierra] Well, do you really feel like it?

- I really feel like it.

(zapping)

(imitates screaming) (laughing)

(screaming)

- 'Cause this here's the wildest ride

in the wilderness.

They just reopened up the Columbia Sailing Ship!

There's the canoes we didn't get to do.

(pirate music)

- [Austin] That's really good.

(festive music)

- Now on to our next land, Adventure Land.

Fast Pass for Indiana Jones.

Jungle Cruise!

Usually Jungle Cruise was just kinda all right for me,

but this was by far the best skipper I've ever had

and I think that made this ride like 10 times better.

Insert some of his funniest moments.

- [Skipper] Now to the left to us,

we've got these really weird white stripey horsies

from the 30's in black and white.

We got horsies with horns and beards.

We got long neck cheetahs.

(laughing)

S-S-I-N-G.

First comes love, then comes--

No, asphyxiation, close.

(laughing)

(festive music)

- Well that is it for Star Wars Land,

just the one ride.

Now we have one land left, but it's a big land.

There's a lot of rides like Fantasy Land did

and that is one, two, three.

- [Both] Tomorrowland.

- Let's go.

(upbeat music)

Starting Tomorrowland off with a Fast Pass

for Space Mountain

and a Fast Pass for Buzz Lightyear.

Check out that score!

I was so close to maxing out.

(Darth Vader mumbling)

Yeah!

Woo!

Guess who was the rebel spy?

That's right, it's me!

They brought me back safely from my mission.

Oh my gosh.

I've been the rebel spy one more time,

but I definitely wasn't the recording.

How lucky that I the recording.

(upbeat music)

- And then our last ride of the day, Astro Orbiters.

Yes!

Every single freaking ride!

We did it.

- We did it!

- High freaking five, my brother.

I'm so proud of us.

We fulfilled our destiny.

It is 9:08 which means we were here for just over 13 hours.

All right, I'm gonna need a coffee before this drive home.

Austin wants a corn dog.

Good day.

I'm tired but I feel like we succeeded.

Like I really did not know going into this

if we were going to be able to finish it

and we did in a decent amount of time.

Also, I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

So Steven texted me about halfway through the day.

He was like, how's it going?

How many rides have you done?

Is doing this challenge kind of making the magic go away

or are you still having fun?

And I thought about it

and I was like, actually I feel like it made it more magical

because we have passes

so we go to Disneyland all the time

and we have our, like, Disney routine.

We ride the same rides, we go to the same places.

So having to do everything not only pushed us

out of our Disney comfort zone and

we tried different rides than we normally would,

but I'm also a competitive person.

And I had a lot of fun.

We gotta do this and we gotta do that

and trying to get everywhere and then when we actually did,

I was like, all worth it.

How did you feel, though?

- It was really fun.

I think it was more fun because we did everything.

Like there was a lot of stuff that I never did.

Definitely added extra magic.

- I feel the same way.

If any of you guys have Disney passes

or you just go all the time,

I high recommend trying this

because it was so fun.

And I feel like there are so many rides

that in my mind you never think for us to go do.

Like the freaking KC Junior Circus Train.

That was a blast!

We are totally gonna do that next time.

All right, you ready?

Give me your ranking bottom to top.

- Starting at 30, Finding Nemo, Mr. Toad,

Alice in Wonderland, Small World, Pinocchio,

Snow White, Teacups, Storybook, Pirate Ships,

Carousel, Haunted Mansion, Roger Rabbit, Buzz Lightyear,

Astro Orbiters, Autopia, Railroad, Casey Jr, Peter Pan,

Pirates of the Caribbean, Smuggler's Run, Toontown Coaster,

Dumbo, Splash Mountain, Matterhorn, Indiana Jones,

Thunder Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, Hyperspace Mountain,

Star Tours with Darth Vader and Sierra as the spy,

Jungle Cruise with Tony.

- Jungle Cruise with Tony was number one?

- Yeah. - Of all.

Tony was really good.

- [Tony] We got long-necked cheetahs.

(laughing)

- Wow, your top three are really surprising me.

What were they?

- Hyper Space Mountain,

Star Tours with Darth Vader and Sierra as spy,

Jungle Cruise with Tony.

- Those were all really good.

Not all three of your top three

were some of my favorites,

but I didn't rank Jungle Cruise with Tony

and Star Tours with me as the spy as high.

But here is my ranking...

Snow White, Pinocchio, Finding Nemo Submarine,

Mr. Toad, Columbia Sailing Ship, Carousel,

Small World, Disneyland Railroad, Autopia,

Astro Orbiters, Casey Jr, Roger Rabbit,

Pirates of the Caribbean, Millennium Falcon Smuggler's Run,

Teacups, Alice in Wonderland, Haunted Mansion,

Indiana Jones, Winnie the Pooh, Splash Mountain,

Gadget's Go Coaster, Jungle Cruise with Tony,

Peter Pan, Storybook Boats,

Star Tours with the new course and me as the spy,

Dumbo, Buzz Lightyear, Matterhorn, Thunder Mountain

and number one, Space Mountain.

And I know that I put Buzz Lightyear

unrealistically high for most people,

but I just love that ride.

When I go to Disneyland by myself,

I will literally ride it, like,

five, six, seven times in a row.

I'm just a very competitive person

and I'm very good at that game.

- Really?

- Yeah, I got 180,000!

So it gives me a little ego boost

being like, yeah, I beat you.

However, the only person who can beat me

is our older brother, Jordan.

- No. - Yeah, he beat me.

- No way. - Yeah, last time.

And he never goes to Disneyland.

He's just better than me at literally everything.

But those are our rankings.

Let us know down in the comments what yours are

if you've ridden all the rides at Disneyland.

If you wanna see more videos with Austin and I,

let us know down in the comments.

You guys can follow Austin on Instagram.

Do you want them to follow you?

- Yeah. - There you go,

here's his Instagram,

@austinshultzaustin.

- You can follow me on Instagram, @schultzzie.

And I will see you guys next time.

Bye!

I'm so tired, but also so caffeinated.
