ADVISORY IS CURRENTLY

IN EFFECT FOR OAHU AND KAUAI AND

WILL GO INTO EFFECT THIS EVENING

FOR MOST OTHER AREAS. THE

STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY

HIGHER TERRAIN. WINDS OVER THE

HALEAKALA

RAPIDLY PICK UP TONIGHT AND

MONDAY, THUS A HIGH

WIND WARNING IS IN EFFECT.

WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAINS ARE

CURRENTLY NOT EXPECTED WITH THIS

SYSTEM AT THE

PRESENT TIME. BANDS OF MOISTURE

WILL BE ROTATING AROUND THE LOW

PRESSURE AREA

WILL ALLOW FOR PASSING SHOWERS

ISLAND SUMMITS BUT SIGNIFICANT

ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOT

ANTICIPATED AT THIS

TIME. THE SUMMIT OF HALEAKALA IS

ALSO EXPECTED TO BE COLD ENOUGH

TO SUPPORT

SOME FROZEN PRECIPITATION AS

WELL. THUS A WINTER WEATHER
