Let's start by explaining where to find AFAS InSite.
You can find a link to the system by accessing MyHR...
either through the employee portal or through myhr.utwente.nl.
In order to get access to MyHR...
you will first have to download the Microsoft Authenticator app...
for a two-factor authentication.
You can log in using your UT email address and password.
Whenever you log in on MyHR, you will have to use the Authenticator app.
After logging in you will have access to MyHR.
We would like to introduce the most important aspects of MyHR briefly...
so that you'll know your way around.
On the homepage you will find a Tasks folder.
In this folder you will find tasks that require action from you.
For example, filling in your work pattern or registering your ancillary activities.
If you have a supervisory role at UT, then you will receive tasks...
related to HR registrations of your employees.
For example, regarding a contract extension.
A Signal folder. In this folder you will receive 'signals'.
Signals are simply there to inform you.
Examples of signals are when your contract or leave hours are about to expire.
Through MyHR, you will find all of the employee self-service processes...
that concern you as an employee.
You can, for example, request leave, register sick leave...
change your personal details, and access payslips and your own personnel file.
It's important to check MyHR regularly to make sure that you finish your tasks...
and that you are aware of any important signals.
An AFAS Pocket app is available...
with which you can receive notifications on your phone.
By using this app you will be able to request leave...
or report yourself sick, wherever you are.
