Kent Slocum is a senior University of Oregon student. He began studying at Lane Community College, where he earned two Associate Degrees. Upon graduation from UO in June, Kent will have a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. In the summer of 2016, Kent was hired at AEI and began working here during Orientation week for Fall Term 2016. He is a Conversation Partner, Help Desk tutor, and classroom tutor in Discussion, Pronunciation and Student Success classes. Kent recommends AEI students experience an Escape Room while studying here. “The Eugene/Springfield area boasts over six different Escape Rooms companies, each with at least two different rooms. Escape Room experiences are immersive team-building activities that bring participants closer together as they solve puzzles before time runs out.
