Difficulty: 0

Hello there my viewers, how are you doing today?

Sometimes it's good to go back to League of Legends, as today we'll be recapping and countdowning the 10 best looking skins from the League's 2017 lineup.

My name is Hepodix and I hope you enjoy the video!

Star Guardian Soraka is the first skin in this list and quite an interesting one to the Star Guardian -skin lineup. This skin references the magical girl genre from anime

as you can tell by her looks. She also resembles Green Heart from Cyberdimension Neptunia 4: Goddesses Online and her hairstyle might reference Sailor Neptune

from the Sailor Moon series.

Soraka also carries Shisa, a familiar with her which can be seen in her homeguard and recall animations and she shares the Star Guardian theme with Ahri, Ezreal,

Janna, Jinx, Lulu, Lux, Miss Fortune, Poppy and Syndra.

God, that's many.

Super Galaxy Gnar is another really cool skin that doesn't leave you out in the cold. The skin introduces a mix of grey, yellow and purple colours for Mini Gnar and the

Mega Gnar has that mecha-inspired yellow-grey steel-ish look which looks really amazing. Super Galaxy Gnar also shares this theme with Annie, Elise, Fizz,

Kindred, Nidalee, Rumble and Shyvana.

Pug'Maw is another really creative skin for Kog'Maw as the cuteness-level skyrockets on this one. The skin basically transforms Kog'Maw into a dog that's based

on the Pug dog breed which is funny and in the splash art you can see him chasing Moo Cow Alistar, Super Kennen and Renektoy which adds a funny twist

to the splash art too!

Battle Boss Ziggs is another cool skin as the theme fits well for a character like Ziggs. The retro-inspired theme around him and those new visuals

on spells makes it extra special and the recall animation is a reference to Bomberman, at least according to LolWiki.

Despite the name, all the Battle Boss, Arcade and Final Boss skins shares the same theme, as Ziggs shares the theme with Ahri, Blizcrank, Brand, Corki, Ezreal,

Hecarim, Malzahar, Miss Fortune, Riven, Sona and Veigar

Oh man that's many!

Dark Star Orianna is a skin that has gorgeous visuals as the space theme fits for the character well and therefore is amazing overall. The splash art looks really neat too

and Orianna shares the Dark Star theme with Kha'Zix, Thresh and Varus.

PROJECT: Jhin is an excellent addition to the PROJECT -skins roster and oh my God, how nice he looks! That color mix of black, red and white

looks just insane and if you look at the splash art carefully, you can see PROJECT: Vayne's motorbike in the background. Jhin also shares the PROJECT theme with

Ashe, Ekko, Fiora, Katarina, Leona, Lucian, Master Yi, Vayne, Vi, Yasuo and Zed

Nightbringer Yasuo is a bad-ass looking skin with it's resemblance to Nightmare from Soulcalibur games. The animations and visuals on the skin itself

and abilities looks sick and apparently this skin originally was intended to be called "Demonblade Yasuo" but got scrapped and changed to Nightbringer,

which shares it's theme with Dawnbringer Riven.

Dreadnova Darius is not only just an awesome skin, it's super awesome skin, but comes with a niche price of 10 Gemstones on the other hand. Price aside,

when taking a look at the skin it looks really gorgeous with the metal-grey and red-orange colors together and the animations are excellent too.

According to LoLWiki, Dreadnova Darius might be referencing Arcturus Mengsk from StarCraft and he also shares the same theme with Galactic Azir,

Dreadnova Gangplank, Galactic Nasus and Galactic Renekton.

Dawnbringer Riven.. wait didn't I just mention her in the Yasuo entry? Yes, well the second part of the same theme let's introduce Dawnbringer Riven that is just

insane-looking and really pairs up with the top-tier skins like Championship Riven. As her development name "Angelblade Riven" suggests, the looks are very bright

and holy-ish and apparenly resembles Patroklos from Soulcalibur V but overall is very well done and is a perfect addition to the Riven skin library.

Before we take a look at the Number 1 spot, let's first glance through some Honorable Skin Mentions.

Beekeeper Singed is an excellent addition to the overall-creative Singed skin's library and the concept how is it executed here makes the skin look quite stellar.

Eternum Cassiopeia is a nice looking skin with its red, black and white colors combined and also the spell effects looks really sweet.

Heartseeker Lucian is a nice addition to the Valentine's Day skin collection and the red outfit and other visuals looks really great overall.

Santa Draven is also an excellent addition to the Snowdown Showdown skin collection as Draven references Santa Claus and those

ice-chill spinning axes looks just epic altogether.

Pulsefire Caitlyn takes the top spot on the 2017 skin lineup because as a huge fan of the Pulsefire skin -lineup, I cannot simply pass on this one!

The skin comes with rich details as there are numerous references in her voice lines, such as quotes and lines from different series and movies.

It is said that Pulsefire Caitlyn references Nova Terra from Starcraft which isn't too far away from the truth and her splash art may reference Oblivia from

Xenoblade Chronicles X which is just epic. Overall, Pulsefire Caitlyn is a really well done skin and shockingly shares the same theme with Pulsefire Ezreal.

Alright, so that's all there is to the Top 10 League of Legends Skins of 2017, I hope you enjoyed!
