And this might just be my favorite necklace ever!
It's Sandi and in today's tutorial I'm going to be showing you how to fix a broken nail
If you've been following me on Instagram you'll know that last week as I was packing for LA
I ended up breaking my nail right off.
Like, I snapped the whole white part completely off!
As seen here.
But the very next day I uploaded this picture and a lot of you guys were wondering how I
went from a broken nail to a fixed nail in one day.
So that's what I'm going to be sharing with you guys today!
Also, if you want to see more tips and tricks videos in the future, then give this video
a thumbs up and let me know down in the comments what types of tips and tricks videos you'd
like to see!
And now onto the tutorial.
So we all know how much it sucks to have your nails long, shaped, and pretty and then all
of a sudden you break one right off.
But today I'm going to show you how to go from this tragedy, to this, in no time!
The first thing you might be thinking when you break a nail off is that "ugh… now I'm
going to have to cut them all down so they're matching."
But that's not true!
My favorite thing to do is get out a pack of natural looking fake nails.
These ones by KISS are my favorite right now because they're super easy to apply and look
They come in many sizes and also have a little bottle of nail glue inside the package.
First you just need to find the right size to fit your nail.
I trick I have is to not use the nail that looks like it will fit without pressing it
onto the nail bed.
This is because when it's pressed it will flatten out a little and become a little too
big for your nail.
This will make the nail look obviously fake.
Instead choose one that looks a little bit too small when you hold it over your nail.
When you press it down, it should flatten out a bit and then you have the perfect fit!
To apply, just add a small dot of nail glue to the nail bed and then press the fake nail
over your broken nail.
Make sure to press down firmly for about 10 seconds.
And there you go!
Super quick and easy.
I love these nails because they are really easy to file and shape just like real nails.
Make sure to file the little bit of plastic off the very top and then file the nail to
the same shape and length as the rest of your nails.
Then, just paint over it and the nail will look completely real.
No one will even spot the difference!
Just make sure you're using a nice pack of thin nails like these, as some can be really
bulky and thick and look obviously fake.
The nail should last about a week.
If you want to take it off sooner, you can dip it into acetone for 1 minute to remove
And that's it for today's video!
I hope these products and tips help you out the next time you break a nail.
Hope to see you again soon!
Take care and I'll seeya next time!
