Let's start today's recipe

We need all these ingredients for making this dish

Whole wheat atta - 3 cups

Radish ( mooli / mula ) - 3 nos

Chopped green chilli - 3 nos ( adjust as required or can skip it )

Chopped coriander leaves

Cumin seeds - 1 tsp ( instead of it you can use 1 tsp carom seeds ( ajwain / juani ) )

Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp

Garma masala - 1 tsp ( you can also use coriander powder or meat masala ) ** Use any one masala **


And Oil

Knead the dough by adding a pinch of salt and water ( as required )

** The dough should be semi-soft **

** knead the dough well so that paratha will be puffed up **

Let it set for 30 minutes

Peel and wash the radish ( mooli / mula )

** Do not use the small hole grater to grate the radish ** use the medium hole grater

Squeezed the grated radish using a cotton cloth

The grated radish size should be like this

Ket's prepare the stuffing

Put a tbsp of oil in a heated vessel

Add a tsp of cumin seeds

Chopped green chilli

You can also add ginger at this time

Now put the grated radish

Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tbsp

Garam masala - 1 tbsp

Cook it on low-medium flame

After 3-4 minutes

Add salt as per taste

** Always add salt at the end **

Saute it by adding chopped coriander leaves for 30 seconds

Then switch off the flame

Let's start making Paratha ( dough is ready and stuffing has cooled now )

** Seal the edges nicely so that stuffing will not come out **

Press it gently

** Gently spread the stuffed dough using your hand ( like I have shown ) **

** Spread the edges as you can and press the centre twice or thrice **

** Roll it quickly ( as radish releases much water ) **

Place this stuffed paratha on a hot tawa

** Roast the paratha on medium flame **

Apply oil or ghee over both the sides nicely

** The paratha has swelled and nicely cooked **

Prepare the remaining parathas in the same way

Our healthy , hot and super tasty " Mula parata ( mooli paratha / radish paratha ) is ready to serve now

Enjoy it hot with thick curd or with tomato ketchup in your breakfast / lunch / dinner
