AIPGMEE (All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination) is one of the toughest examinations in the country, passing which aspirants become postgraduate doctors in their respective specializations. The exam has been replaced by NEET PG exam which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Candidates interested in taking admission to MS/ MD/ PG Diploma courses must apply for NEET PG. The NBE (National Board of Examinations) was set up by the Government of India in 1975, with an objective to improve the quality of Medical education in India. The NBE was given responsibility to conduct NEET PG for admission into the MD/MS/Diploma course in the medical colleges of all states of India (except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Telangana).
