The full form of VVPAT is Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail. It’s used on Governmental ,Standards in India

Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) is an add-on system attached to the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) that allow the voters to verify that their vote was casted correctly, and to provide a means to audit the stored electronic results in the Electronic Voting Machine. During each vote the printer in the VVPAT provide the voter with a receipt that allows the voter to verify his/her vote. The receipt contains the name of the candidate for whom the vote has been casted and election symbol of the candidate.
