Your Customer Reference Number (CRN) is an eight-digit number that can be found in written communication from The Economist.

Your CRN can be found in the My Account section of your online account and in the Welcome email sent to you (not your Order Confirmation email). You’ll receive your Welcome email two to three days after your Order Confirmation email.

You can also get your CRN sent to you via email by clicking here and following the instructions for ‘Do not know your customer reference number?.’

Your CRN will be displayed on your My Account page once you have activated your account. If you recently purchased or renewed your subscription with The Economist, it will take up to 5 working days before your CRN details are displayed in your account.
