Nedurumalli Balakrishna Reddy Science & Arts College was founded by late Padmasri Nedurumalli Bala Krishna Reddy, a visionary and Philanthropist with a great missionary mind in the year 1965 under the banner of Harijana Vidyardhi Uddaraka Sangham to uplift the downtrodden. His indomitable determination and unfailing faith are the two pillars to realize his dreams towards fulfilling the needs of the unprivileged. It has been an Aided Institution since inception. Being situated in an ideal, rural and natural setting with the famous Swarnamukhi River and sacred hill as its background, covered by mortarable transport communication facilities with a wide expansion of land, the place is named Vidyanagar, a place of learning, dedicated to distinctive educational environment that enables young person’s to grow not only in intellectual capacities, but also in other dimensions of their personalities. The College is affiliated to Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore obtaining the status of 2(f) and 12(B) sections of UGC Act.
