The Full Form of OSFW is Oklahoma Science Fiction Writers.

The purpose of Oklahoma Science Fiction Writers is to encourage the writing and publishing of genre fiction with a focus on original science fiction, fantasy, dark fantasy and horror, in both long and short form. This is not an organization for fan fiction.

The group meets in the Tulsa metropolitan area, in member homes, and generally on the second Friday of the month.

At monthly meetings, members read their works, which are then critiqued by other members. Guests who are considering joining OSFW may also participate in these readings. Online, members only may submit their work for review in lieu of or in addition to readings at meetings via OSFW’s members-only web-based file-sharing system. Critiques by OSFW members are free of charge.
