Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics is a specialization diploma course which can be pursued after completion of either MBBS or BAMS course. It is a post-graduate diploma course spanning over 2 years and is equally divided into 4 semesters. The majority of the course deals with the obstetrics along with maternity care and female reproduction and diseases. The minimum eligibility for this course is 50% in the MBBS or BAMS system from a recognized college/university. This course deals with both obstetrics which is focussed for one year of study and gynecology, which is focused during the second year of study.
