If someone or something falls, they move quickly downwards onto or towards the ground, by accident or because of a natural force.
“Falling forward” in life enables you to dream big and make mistakes, but learn from those mistakes and definitely avoid falling back. Nothing in life is worthwhile unless you take risks.
Nelson Mandela, who I really have admired, said “There is no passion to be found in playing small and settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” People have often said that when you take risks in life, “always makes sure you have something to fall back on.” — but is that really the best advice?
